My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet boy is named Murphy. He was found as a stray but so far no one has come forward to claim him. He looks very much like a Pug and possibly Boston Terrier as well. He looks to be about 2 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He is as sweet as can be and the person who found him said he even slept on her bed. She had him for a few days and he did try to potty in the house so she used a belly band and it worked very well! He got along well with other dogs and the kids in the home who were over 12 and up. He rode nicely in the car over and seems to be a really good boy. He has a neuter appointment on 10/22 and can go home the next. $300 adoption helps with his neuter, vaccinations and microchipping. All potential adopters must complete an adoption application found at our website, www.petsnpals.org. Our fees are based on the cost of spaying or neutering. The price ranges from approximately $100 to $350 per dog and $125 per cat/kitten.

We are located at 12488 S. Harlan Road in Lathrop, California. We are open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are open by appointment only.

More about this shelter

Pets & Pals has been serving the community for over 20 years. We are a no-kill shelter. Our facility is extremely clean and well managed. The dogs are allowed to get out of their cages daily on a rotating basis to play in our outdoor areas complete with swimming pools!
