For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Animal Welfare Friends with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pinky Pie is a delightful black and white female kitten bursting with charm and personality! With her striking markings and playful demeanor, this little cutie is sure to capture your heart. At just a few months old, Pinky Pie is an energetic explorer who loves to chase after toys and discover new corners of her world. She's always ready for a playful romp or a cozy cuddle session, making her the perfect companion for both playtime and downtime. Pinky Pie is social and friendly, getting along beautifully with other pets and humans alike. Her affectionate nature and playful spirit will bring endless joy to your home.
I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable fee of $100 is INCLUDED in my $200 adoption fee! This fee covers my spay/neuter surgery (at the Monticello Vet Clinic), my vaccines: FVR & Rabies! & my FELV/FIV Test + preventatives! The $100 deposit is returned once proof of sterilization is furnished!
Think I might be the perfect fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
