My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sage is a 4-5 year old beagle. We don’t know her origin before she arrived at a rural shelter as a stray. Though she enjoys the company of other dogs, she’s still not too sure of humans. Her favorite place is a quiet corner of the house or in a crate. We can’t say for sure if she’ll ever be comfortable with human touch. An experienced or patient adopter with a quiet home is required.

Sage’s made immense progress but still avoids human touch. She can be picked up and handled for vet appts etc. She goes outside for potty breaks and looks forward to meal time in her crate.. She’s being fostered in Charlotte with a smaller puppy and two other larger dogs.

She’s spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations and prevention.
