Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting one of GRI’s cats:
1. Complete our Adoption Application at www.garfieldsrescue.org
2. GRI will do a veterinary reference check and if a potential adopter does not have a vet reference, we may require a home visit prior to finalizing an adoption.

Kittens, and many adult cats, need feline companionship just like humans. We recommend that kittens be adopted in pairs unless you already have a compatible cat in your home. In addition, some adult cats need feline companionship, regardless of age. Again, we recommend that these cats be adopted in pairs or into a home with a compatible cat. We are happy to identify which of our cats will be happy as single cats and those that need feline companionship.
