Animal Profile: Otis is a 1-year-old (DOB 7/23/23) 85 pound purebred neutered male German Shepherd in need of a shepherd savvy adopter. Otis is healthy and of sound temperament with medium drive and no fear based behaviors. He is moderately active but also good at settling in the house. He is crate trained and house trained. Otis has lived with a female shepherd with no issues and gets along well with other dogs in his current environment at Pinnacle K9. He is friendly with staff and has no issue with strangers however does have territorial behavior in the home within normal range for his breed. Otis has had professional training with Pinnacle K9 and knows basic obedience. He will thrive with a shepherd savvy family who can continue to provide leadership as well exercise and training. His adoption will include training for his family to set him up for success.

Adoption Info: Adoption includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip with lifetime registration, and professional "take home training" with Pinnacle GSD.
Animal History: Otis was purchased from a breeder and raised from a puppy in a family home. Unfortunately as an adolescent he started behaving territorially in the home and with an elderly person with dementia living in the home, the family made the difficult decision to rehome him. Otis received professional training with Pinnacle Training and is currently boarding at Pinnacle GSD in Aberdeen until a suitable adopter can be found.
