My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frank
Domestic Shorthair, Born in September 2023, Gray and White, Neutered male

Hi, I’m Frank! I’m an easygoing cat who’s looking for my forever home. In fact, my foster mom describes me as 'the perfect cat.' I love to cuddle, especially when you're around—I’ll curl up in your lap and let you know exactly where I want those pets! I’m not too keen on being picked up, but don’t worry, I won’t make a fuss about it.

I’m pretty independent too. When you’re busy, I’m happy to gaze out the window or entertain myself with my favorite toy—a whack-a-mole feather game! I’m also incredibly clean and never scratch furniture. You won’t have to worry about any litter box issues either—I’ve got that all handled.

I’m a perfect match for families with kids, and other felines. Before I came to C.A.R.E. I lived with other cats. So I can be happy as a solo pet, or would get along with other pets after a proper introduction. Whether you want some company or need me to entertain myself, I’ll be your ideal companion.

Ready to meet me? Let’s set up a time!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
