Hello everyone! Miss Mitza is 2-3years old and about 45 lbs. She is super smart, incredibly loving and full of energy. She has a love for squirrels, stuffed toys and exploring the world with her nose. She is a very playful personality. Mitza would love a sport / training focused home or would be happy with an active family.
She has a high drive and energy to go with it. Mitza will thrive with a family that is excited to provide daily mental enrichment and physical activity. She is very biddable and has a high food drive. She is confident in all settings; has no environmental fears. After a few weeks she has settled to have a bit of an off switch.
She is crate trained and house trained. Basic obedience and extra skills have been started with her. Mitza can live with dogs, cats and kids. Other dogs should be appreciative of her fun personality. Meet and greets will be required with any potential dog housemates.

More about this rescue
We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.
The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.
