Penny!

Location: Massena, NY

Penny is a spunky 6 month old, 34 pound spayed female cattle dog. She has been thriving with her foster siblings (4 other dogs ranging from 1 year to 8 years old, all over 40 pounds). Penny loves to play all day long with them so she would love to go to a home with other dogs (no cats!). Penny has proven herself to be a very active girl and would do best with an active family. She has not been around children under 15 years old so I'm not sure how she would do (her herding instincts are strong and she will try to nip at ankles, we are working on that). 
??????Penny loves to be outside and is fantastic on a leash. We are working on recall with her but she dose know sit and stay (she was able to learn those commands in one day). She is eager to please and catches on quickly, we are working on other commands as well. Meeting new people is kind of scarry to her at first but she warms up very quickly and lays the kisses on strong. She loves to go all day long but at the end of the day she enjoys a good cuddle on the couch (she snores from time to time). 
??????Penny is kennel trained and dose sleep in her kennel all night with no issues. She is up to date on all vaccines and is current on her flea/tick and heart worm prevention. BONUS: She also enjoys hanging out in the vet office while her foster mom works all day. She loves car rides and enjoys going to Tractor Supply and picking out her own toys.
