My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Polly is more shy than her sister and more protective as well. She's very sweet and loves to be pet when she warms up to you. Holly and her sister Pebbles were abandoned in a dangerous place and where Pebbles adjusted better Polly is still adjusting all the changes she's going through in her short little life. She is good with other kitties and good morning fostered with Figaro and Mozart if you're looking for two definitely easier on kitties when they go in a pair that is why we also give a discounted price for a pair to help them adjust better. She is scheduled to be fixed on Tuesday but will be at adoptions at Pet Food Express in Davis on Sunday.

Additional adoption info

We required those interested in adopting a dog or cat to fill out our online Pet Adoption Application and Agreement, which is on our website at www.pawspetadoption.org. Our Board of Directors will review your application and get back to you asap. If your application is approved, we will arrange a meeting with you and the adoptable pet. If the pet appears to be a good fit for your family, we may visit your home to ensure that the environment is suitable for that particular pet.

More about this rescue

Pet Adoption and Wellness Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and trainers, we are able to rescue animals, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully-screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
