Coco is an 8 year old, 12lb, Dapple colored Miniature Dachshund. This delightful low-rider with a heart full of love was recently surrendered when her 90-year-old owner entered assisted living. Coco is now on the lookout for her forever home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by warmth and affection.
Coco thrives on attention and loves meeting new people. She is the perfect lap dog, always ready to curl up with you for some cozy cuddle time. Despite her age, she still enjoys playtime and going for walks, making her the ideal companion for leisurely outings.
Coco is crate trained and house trained, making her a wonderful addition to any home. She’s not a fan of high-energy dogs and would do best as an only dog or with another low-energy canine companion. Recently, she met a cat and showed no signs of concern, so she could fit well into a multi-pet household with the right introductions.
Coco would prefer a home with older, mature children or an adult-only household, as that's what she is accustomed to. With a gentle and calm demeanor, she is sure to bring joy to her new family.
Coco has recently been spayed and has undergone a dental cleaning, ensuring she's fit and healthy as she embarks on this new chapter.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
