Auudrey is a sweet 5-year-old, 15lb Miniature Schnauzer and Yorkie mix who was found as a stray. After her rescue from the streets of Detroit, she landed in overcrowded shelter where she was terrified by the noise and chaos, Audrey is now looking for a loving home where she can feel safe and secure. Sadly, her previous owners never came to reclaim her, but she is ready for a new start!
Audrey can be a bit timid at first, but once she feels comfortable in her environment, she has a charming personality that shines through. She loves to seek attention from her humans and will quickly become your loyal companion.
Audrey enjoys going for leash walks and rides well in the car, making her a great travel buddy. She has very good house manners and gets along well with other respectful dogs. While she has shown no interest in cats, she would thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy children or adults only, as she does best in a quieter environment.
Audrey is crate trained, although she may bark initially when crated. She has a short tolerance for grooming, so she will require a patient and experienced groomer to help her feel at ease during grooming sessions.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
