My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jacki is a rambunctious young bunny with a lot of energy.  She loves to explore her foster house and does full-speed zoomies around the living room.  She is an escape artist and really doesn’t like being in her pen for long periods, so a home that will let her free roam for most of the day would be best.  When she first came to us, Jacki was a bit hesitant about human touch.  She is very comfortable around her foster mom, but still isn’t interested in being pet.  She’ll need someone who is willing to be patient with her and to work on learning to enjoy cuddle time on the floor.  Jacki was living with her sister up until she was spayed, so she may be a good candidate for bonding if she meets a bun she likes.  Her litter box habits are pretty good.  She poops a bit around her pen, but always pees in her litter box and has never peed elsewhere in her foster home.  She loves hay blocks, Oxbow apple treats, and veggies.  She is a good hay eater and loves to do bunstruction on the cardboard box in her pen.  Jacki is such a cutie and if she comes home with you, you will be endlessly entertained!

• permanently caring for animals who cannot be placed in adoptive homes due to serious health or behavioral problems; and

• educating the public on responsible pet ownership and humane practices.
