Hello! My name is Sheva, and I’m a sweet brown female cat searching for my forever family. I thrive on companionship and love being part of the family, but I want to share that I prefer to be the only cat in the home. I truly enjoy observing all the little happenings around me and being the center of attention! My loving and gentle nature helps me get along wonderfully with people, and I have great manners and a calm demeanor, making me a delightful companion. One of my favorite pastimes is curling up on a cozy, soft blanket for a nice, peaceful nap. Some animals shown are rehoming courtesy posts for the current owners, and other animals are available for adoption through Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs).

All animals in the care of FRAs have their annual vaccinations, sterilization, FeLV/FIV test for cats, and a microchip. You must sign an adoption contract when adopting a pet through FRAs.

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization. FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
