My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*This is a courtesy listing.*

Kona is a gentle soul looking for her forever home! This beautiful 9-year-old Boxer was recently rescued from an overcrowded LA shelter. Kona asks for patience as she decompresses from the stress of losing her home and being in the shelter. In return, she promises to be a loving and devoted companion to her new family.
******************************************

What Makes Kona Special:

Affectionate & Loyal: Kona just wants to be near you. She'll follow you from room to room, making sure she's never far from your side.

Good balance of energy: Kona is total couch potato but does enjoys getting out on leash and exploring the neighborhood.

Kid-Friendly: Kona is very calm around kids, including toddlers. Kona doesn't jump, grab food, or react to the sounds of play, making her a perfect match for families.

Social Butterfly: Kona loves meeting new people and is friendly toward strangers.

Other animals: While she hasn't been tested with cats, she was friendly with calm dogs at the shelter, so she may adapt well with the right introductions.
********************************************

Kona has shown some signs of stress when confined, so a home where she can roam freely would be ideal. She's a smart cookie and can find her way out of barriers, so a safe, enclosed area is important. This may improve as Kona has time to adjust to her new environment and feels secure and loved.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love and enjoy cozy evenings on the couch, Kona might be the perfect fit for you!
