My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Iris, the sweetest and gentlest little lady you'll ever meet! This darling pug has a heart of gold and not a mean bone in her body. Iris is all about the simple pleasures in life-she loves sunbathing, snacking on fresh fruit (just don't offer her bananas!), and showing off her adorable bottom teeth while looking cute as can be. When it comes to treats, only the best will do for Iris-she's a fan of high-quality bully sticks and cozy dog beds where she can relax like the queen she is.

Iris loves snuggling and enjoys being held like a baby, but she's also content sleeping in her own cozy spot if needed. She's good on slow-paced walks and does well with other dogs, though she doesn't quite understand that all the food isn't hers-so a food-aggressive dog wouldn't be her best match. Cats? No problem for Iris. She's curious and loves to explore her surroundings, always on the hunt for her next foodie adventure.

Though Iris isn't a zoomie queen, when she does decide to show off her playful side, it's beyond adorable. She has a calm, laid-back personality and would thrive in a slower-paced lifestyle, making her an ideal companion for someone in a small apartment or a quiet home. She does get a bit upset when left alone in a room, so she'll need a family that can keep her company or take her along on their day-to-day activities.

Iris is working on her potty training and is about 80% reliable with pee pads. With a little patience and routine, she'll get the hang of it! This gentle foodie is ready to share her life with a loving family who will appreciate her snuggles, sweet nature, and irresistible charm. Could Iris be the perfect match for your quiet, loving home?
