Chucky is a smart, playful, and affectionate pup who adores his family, including small children. He loves snuggling up in the recliner, imagining he's a 60-pound lap dog, and takes his "job" of protecting his people from any ball-like object very seriously! Chucky is great on leash walks, only tugging lightly, and enjoys new toys (though squeakers don't stand a chance!). With a curious nature and a love for just about any snack, Chucky would make a loyal and loving addition to any home.

Adoption questionnaires can be submitted online directly from an animal's profile on ycspca.com or as a general adoption application from www.ycspca.org/adopt/ A staff member will contact you to review your adoption questionnaire, then a meet (adoption appointment) can be scheduled between the pet and the potential adopter. If you cannot complete the form online, please call 717-764-6109 or visit the shelter during our public browsing hours to complete a questionnaire. We are open for public browsing hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We are open for scheduled adoption appointments every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Other hours are available by request.
