Meet Alpine!
Alpine is a stunning 4-year-old German shepherd mix with a playful spirit that will melt your heart. She loves to prance around and act like a puppy, especially when she’s playing with her favorite stuffed bunny, a rope toy, or a ball for fetch. Alpine is the perfect combination of beauty, brains, and athleticism, making her a wonderful companion for someone with breed experience.

This smart and loyal lady uses her dog door to potty, walks well on a leash, and thrives on mental challenges. She adores running and playing in big yards and gets along well with other dogs who respect her queenly status. While she’s nervous around small children, Alpine would fit beautifully into a home with adults or older kids who can appreciate her personality.

Her ideal home has a fenced yard and plenty of love to offer. Alpine is ready to be your loyal and loving companion—she’s amazing and waiting for her forever family!

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
