Gypsy is a delightful 1.5-year-old dog weighing 56 pounds, ready to find her forever home. Born in care, she has known comfort and companionship and is eager to return to a loving environment. With her long legs and sweet personality, Gypsy is a joy to be around. She enjoys the company of other dogs, making her an excellent addition to a multi-pet household. Not only is she housebroken and crate-trained, but she also craves the warmth and affection that only a forever family can provide. Gypsy is ready for her next adventure and hopes to find a special place to call home soon.

Additional adoption info

All of Dogs in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea and heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee's are puppies under 6 months-$150, dogs over 6 months-$95, and purebred dogs vary. All of the Cats in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Fiv/FeLV Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea preventative. Our adoption fee's are kittens under 6 months-$70 and cats over 6 months-$50.

We do have an adoption application and do not do same day adoptions.

Go meet their pets

We are open Monday Thru Friday 10am-6pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. We do recommend calling in advanced to make sure we will be open on weekends as we do attend offsite adoption events frequently! Call to make sure the dog you are interested is still at the shelter.

The Hill Country SPCA was chartered as a 501(c) (3) non profit organization in the state of Texas in October, 1997. We are a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter providing services to the Texas Hill Country. Our funding comes strictly from donations, grants, and fundraising events. We are not supported by tax dollars.
