My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Louie, a charming orange kitten with a heart as big as his adorable whiskers! Louie might be a bit timid at first, but don’t let his shyness fool you—he’s a little ball of potential just waiting for the right person to bring him out of his shell.

Our dedicated staff have been working closely with Louie, helping him build trust and confidence. With their support, he’s learning to enjoy the company of humans and is slowly discovering the joys of playtime and snuggles. Louie is quite the chatterbox, and he’s especially motivated by treats, making him a little foodie at heart!

Louie would thrive in a home with an experienced cat owner who understands the nuances of working with shy and fearful cats. If you’re patient, gentle, and ready to put in the effort to help Louie socialize and shine, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion.

Are you the special someone who can give Louie the time and care he needs? Come meet him today and see if you can help this sweet orange kitten become the confident, playful cat he’s meant to be!

More about this rescue

We are Northern California's first No Kill dog and cat rescue and adoption shelter. As a 501(c) 3 non-profit animal shelter, we transfer in dogs and cats from public shelters where they are in danger of being euthanized due to space or financial limitations. We then provide them with the best possible care and enrichment until we can help them find their forever homes.
