My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abba is a gentle soul who has been through more than her fair share of challenges. She may need some time to adjust and build trust, but with patience and understanding, Abba will blossom into a loyal and loving companion.

Abba’s ideal home is one where she can feel safe and secure, with someone who will guide her with kindness and support as she builds her confidence. She’s looking for a patient and loving adopter who understands that she’s worth every bit of extra care and will reward you with endless love and joy.

If you’re ready to help Abba shine and experience the deep bond that can come from giving a special dog a second chance, come meet her today.

More about this rescue

We are Northern California's first No Kill dog and cat rescue and adoption shelter. As a 501(c) 3 non-profit animal shelter, we transfer in dogs and cats from public shelters where they are in danger of being euthanized due to space or financial limitations. We then provide them with the best possible care and enrichment until we can help them find their forever homes.
