My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Blue was found wandering the streets and a good samaritan scooped him up and kept him safe. He is 5 years old, knows how to use the doggy door and walks on a leash well. He is FULL of love to give and is a total couch potato. He is content to just snuggle.

Since arriving at Pathways, Blue has been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Blue is good with dogs and all sized humans. We are unsure of cats.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
