Other important info about me: I’m charming, polite, and quickly win over the hearts of everyone I meet! I almost instantly became a staff and volunteer favorite due to my sweet nature. I appear to get along well with people of all ages and other dogs, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time.

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We are open Tues-Fri 8-4 and Sat 10-2. If no one is at the shelter during open hours, please call 281-576-2417 for assistance.

2.
Meet the Pet

We require all adopters to spend time with the pet they are interested in to make sure he/she is a good match!

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

All adopters must sign an adoption contract. This contract states that you will obtain rabies vaccination for your new pet within 7 days.

4.
Pay Fee

The adoption fee for all pets at MBAS is $10. We accept cash (exact change required), check, or card.

5.
Take the Pet Home

And that's it! You are now the proud owner of a new furry family member and will take your pet home right away.

Mont Belvieu Animal Shelter is open Tuesday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please call or stop by the shelter to view our available animals!
