For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Animal Welfare Friends with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ry's love language is hugs and some more hugs. Being a tripod and all, we happily invite her to our level, with her one paw gently bracing herself as she gazes at you with her LOVELY eyes. Ry's trust isn't something she gives out without some effort, though! Coming from about 2 years going through an unknown background, then ultimately being abandoned, she deserves the very best! Ry does enjoy other dogs, but they, too, take a little bit for her to warm up to; nonetheless she ultimately warms up to everyone, and everything! Of course, being an Aussie she's got energy needs, but we've had no issue draining her of all of it through playtime, walks, and fun snuffle mats! If you can't tell, we LOVE Ry, SO much; she is the most cuddly, snuggly girl in the world, willing to give ALL of it to those willing. Sweet Ry has impeccable leash manners, knows her basic commands, and keeps her kennel nice and tidy! We recommend she goes home to an adult-only home, as little ones typically aren't able to move at her pace. So if you're on the hunt for a dog that without a singular doubt, will fulfill your life with joy, laughter, and all the love; come meet Ry!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
