Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Now would you look at this sweet pea? She is just too cute and sweet as her name and her name is China. She came to the shelter on 9/18 because her former family lost their home and had no where else safe to keep China. She is a beautiful and sweet girl that needs her life turned around very soon. She is very intelligent as she knows to basic commands but it was a bit hot outside and she was a bit unsure but give her TIME and she will show you what she knows. She would be a wonderful student if you would take the time and effort to teach her everything she doesn't know already. China is feeling a bit confused and frightened as to why she is here but once she is outside, she opens up slowly. A volunteer will be spending time with her and working with her to help her gain her confidence. We know it is in there. She just needs people who love her no matter where she came from, that will give her the patience, love, respect and understanding that she deserves. This may have been the only home she has ever known. She stays quiet in her run while she is waiting for her new home. She would like to have that second chance to have a family once again and not stay in a shelter for too long. Can you help her find her way to her forever home? She would like that so much. Nice bed, lots of toys to play with, good meals and lots of love and attention from you. If you can help her make her dream come true, then she is your girl!
China is current on vaccines, will be spayed and micro chipped upon her adoption. She is in Run 51 and her ID is 662040. China is only 4 years old and weighs a mere 69lbs. She is still a baby and she really doesn't deserve to start out in life in a loud, overcrowded shelter. Please give this sweet girl a solid chance. She needs you now more than ever.
Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
