Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oreo is a shy and mysterious beauty who thrives in the quiet of the night. Currently in a foster home, she’s what we lovingly call a "ghost cat"—she may not be seen much during the day, but she leaves behind evidence of her nighttime adventures, from rearranged toys to an emptied food bowl.
Oreo is still adjusting to life in her foster home, so there’s much to learn about her personality. However, we believe she’s ready to find her forever home where she can feel secure and loved. Oreo is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can be the center of attention as the only pet.
With time, patience, and understanding, we’re confident that Oreo will reveal her unique charm and become a cherished companion.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an Adopter Profile at www.parl.org/adopt and email aacevedovelez@parl.org to set up a meeting!

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
