My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Arista, a super sweet Old English Sheepdog mix with a heart of gold. Arista is always happy to roll over for a belly rub, she is super affectionate and loves nothing more than getting to spend time with people. She is playful and full of boundless energy, but she also knows when it's a good time to take a nap. She loves walks and will do a funny little dance when it comes time to head out. Arista can be a bit selective with other dogs, meaning she would have to meet any potential canine roommates before going home with them. If you're looking for a pup who loves people more than anything, stop by our shelter and meet Arista today!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.
