My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“In every generation, there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer.” Meet Buffy! The fiercest puppy of all! Originally rescued by Animal Care Services, Buffy was found all on her own at only four days old. This means that she had to be one tough little gal! So, when it was time for our next shelter intake, we just knew that we couldn’t leave her behind. Buffy, along with a separate litter of three neonatal pups found themselves in a comfy foster home of our very own SNIPSA staff member. There, they thrived quickly and began to grow, grow, grow - Buffy, most of all! Now, Buffy is full of the usual fun puppy antics that you can imagine. As most puppies would require, Buffy will benefit from plenty of time to adjust, training and lots of LOVE! So, if you’re ready to add this little vampire slayer to your pack this fall, submit an application to meet Buffy today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
