Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"I’m the best girl and my foster mom tells me so all of the time! I have other foster dogs in the house and I love them all too. Just look at my transformation!"
Rosie was found all alone and in need of some TLC on the streets of Houston while just a young baby. She was brought into a shelter and thankfully our rescue partner was able to scoop her up and put her into a foster home... but she always had dreams of making it big out West. So now, Rosie is here in Colorado, ready to start her big debut on a new life!
Rosie is a 6 month old, adorable little girl! Our guess is that she is a Hound/Lab mix. She has GORGEOUS expressive eyes. She is currently 24 lbs, and full grown will probably be around 35 lbs.
From Rosie's foster:
"My sweet Rosebud, she is such a joy to foster and everyone that meets her loves her. She's potty trained, sleeps thru the night, loves people and once she gets to know other pups she’s a lot of fun with them!"
Since Rosie is just a puppy, she's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show her the way. She has all the potential in the world to be an awesome family companion and will form deep bonds with her people (as well as other dogs and humans) while learning positive socialization skills through puppy kindergarten or force-free training classes. It does take a bit of time and commitment...yet pays off a thousand times over when you have a dog that can accompany you out in the world with appropriate behavior. It's for these reasons that we're unwilling to adopt Rosie to a family that doesn't choose this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement (force- free) trainers in your area.
Rosie is up to date on her vetting and is already spayed.
Rosie is available for adoption now! Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If you're interested in this extremely sweet, cuddly and fun-loving best friend, please fill out our application completely and submit.
**PLEASE NOTE** Farfel's Rescue makes huge efforts to place our dogs with families that are excellent matches. We do this through our application found on farfels.com or at the link provided above (never through rescue site apps such as RescueMe, Petfinder or Adoptapet as they don't provide enough information) If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out the Farfel's Rescue adoption application.. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving puppy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit a Farfel's adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
