Iris is the sweetest mama cat you’ll ever meet. This lovely lady has a playful, gentle soul and adores spending time with her baby girl, Periwinkle. Whether they’re chasing toys or snuggling up together for a cozy nap, Iris shows her loving and playful side every day.

Affectionate and friendly, Iris loves being around people. She’s always ready for pets, cuddles, and even enjoys being held! Her purrs are her way of saying, “Thank you for the love.” Iris is looking for a forever home where she can continue being her playful and loving self, preferably alongside her little shadow, Periwinkle.

If you’re ready for double the love and endless cuddles, Iris would be purrfect for you! All Ayla's cats must be indoor only and declawing is not allowed. We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
