For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Bellissima is about 18 months old, 45-50 lbs, and the sweetest, happiest girl!
She came to us right in the middle of Hurricane Helene and the wild weather didn’t dampen her spirit at all. She has done so well with the two other dogs in her foster home: a smaller, same aged female, and larger, older male. She has not shown any interest in cats and has loved every human she has had the chance to meet (adults and kids). She is a great mix between playful and calm: she loves to romp around the yard with the dogs and to snuggle up on the couch to watch tv. She is fully house trained and crate trained. She is a great co-pilot in the car, has the softest fur, gives the sweetest kisses and is an all-around good girl!
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
