Happy Fall Y'all! My name is Petra and I'm a beautiful, sweet 2-4yr old German Shepherd. I'm located near Greeneville TN and available for transport.

Here are some fun facts about me & my ideal home!

1. I was rescued from a scary shelter by my wonderful foster mom. I have no idea why I was dumped there but I'm thankful to be with IDGSR waiting to find my forever home.

2. I have a lot of energy and love to play! I would love to have a safe fenced in backyard to run and play in.

3. I would absolutely love to go on adventures! Do you like walking, hiking, running, swimming, or chasing waterfalls? Me too! Let's go on cool trips together, especially this fall!

4. I’m very smart and would really love some obedience training. It’s fun and I get to use my brain. Will you paw-promise to train me to my fullest potential?

5. My ideal home is with someone who has prior German Shepherd experience, no first time GSD owners please. I would do fine with a confident male doggo, no females, I have an alpha personality. If you have kids, it's best they be 12yrs & up!

6. If you are looking for a fun, sweet, energetic, smart and loving companion - I'm your girl!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
