My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kirbie, is a tall, lanky 13 month old Doodle with a gorgeous coat and the sweetest demeanor. He's cautious & shy of new people but his trust & personality blooms quickly. He loves his people & will shadow you while you're home. He's affectionate and gives great hugs!

Kirbie would do best with older kiddos as he's a large somewhat clumsy puppy. He adores dogs, even the small ones and is very enthusiastic about play.

A very smart boy, who learned sit, stay and a few other basic commands in a few days. He walks very well on a leash, though he initially has a lot of energy right out of the shoot. Kirbie is house trained & mostly crate trained, though he'll try to tell you otherwise. He recently visited his foster mother at work and was a model employee!

He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on flea/heartworm prevention. He is in Tampa Bay area, his adoption fee is $400.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
