It's storytime, so get a snack and settle in. Once upon a time a beautiful gray ticked tabby cat was found abandoned in a cardboard box on a hot California summer day. No food. No water. No blanket for comfort. Now, dear Reader, you might think that this was for sure the worst day of this kitty's life. And it truly might have been just that, if it weren't for some kind people at Priceless Pets Rescue who found her and brought her in. And in so doing, they also found something else: They found that this little beauty was "in the family way. So the task was set! A foster home must be found! A loving place for this little mama-to-be to rest up, give birth in warmth and comfort, and raise her family. And in short order, such a home was indeed found. You see, dear Reader, her story touched the heart of a Priceless Pets foster who, herself, had found a little gray tabby cat alone in a box many years before. Upon that box were inscribed the words "My name is Holly. Please give me a home. And so she did. And, dear Reader, this foster had always held the belief that what could have been Holly's worst day, actually turned out to be her best day, because it led her to finding a loving home where she was treasured and spoiled for the rest of her life. And so, in honor and loving memory of the first Holly, this new tabby was given the same name. Holly. Many prayers were sent up in the village asking that this little mama would find the same fortune as her namesake. And what a village it was! Please understand, dear Reader, that animal rescue is a group effort, and Holly's story is no different. Her good fortune led her to a village full of humans-tall ones, and even some very small ones-who supported her as she brought seven beautiful kittens into the world and raised them with love and tenderness. And she rewarded those kind humans who loved her along the way with endless purrs, warm snuggles, and soft head nudges. But time marches on, and by and by, Holly's babies have grown up and are setting off on their own journeys to find their own fortunes-their own forever homes. And Holly awaits the glorious day when that day. . .that day that could have been her worst day. . .leads to her very BEST day. The day when she finds her own forever home. A home where she will be treasured and spoiled for the rest of her life. So, dear Reader, is this where you enter Holly's story? Will her long journey end at your front door? Do you have room in your home and your heart for a beautiful gray ticked tabby cat whose unexpectedly BEST day led her from a cardboard box to you?
Holly is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and is microchipped which will be registered to her new family.
