For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Oh Meatloaf... what a guy! With his stunning looks and his enthusiastic personality, you'll never be able to look away! Meatloaf has been here quite a while now, he was heartworm positive, but he completed treatment and just needs continued heartworm preventatives! While in our care, the loaf has also been neutered and had his soft palate shortened and his nares opened to help with breathing.
Meatloaf loves chasing balls and playing with new toys, but there aren't any marathons (or even 5ks) in this guy's future! Meatloaf does not like other dogs, and would probably terrorize a cat, so he should be an only pet.
Meatloaf hasn't had a typical home experience coming to us as part of a cruelty investigation. As such, his new family should be patient as he learns how to be a civilized house dog. And let's face it, bulldogs in general have their fair share of medical issues, so his new family should be ready and able to support the Loaf through whatever may come his way. He'll chew on your arm, and wipe his eye boogers on you to show you his thanks.
If you would like to meet Meatloaf, give us a call at 603-472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions.
