My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I present to you a classic good boy ! He loves enjoying a chew bone on a soft cozy bed, a game of fetch or bouncing around with a doggie pal, gives gentle kisses and has a wonderful understanding of when the right time to snuggle is. He is a great co-worker too! Well, if the job is to be a happy, quiet boy while you work from home, he may know a thing or two about real-estate deals but those secrets are safe with him. His name is Bandit Orca but we lovingly started calling him Bunny. If you watch his profile video you will quickly see why.
https://youtu.be/mSQcGP8eJlg

Bandit Orca Bunny is estimated to be about 3 years old, of course in rescue we cannot be 100% sure but our educated observation paired with his balanced energy guides us well. This boy weighs 40 lbs so he is small in size but trust me, it doesn’t effect the weight in his snuggles. He has a heartiness that feels so nice to wrap your arms around or snuggle up next to. Some of his features look like there is a little pittie in there but his hops and play style look very boxer-esque. Just like with age, breed is something we cannot guarantee but offer as a thoughtful observation.

An ideal home for Bandit is pretty flexible- he can be an apartment or condo boy as he currently lives in an apartment with his foster and does very well! He could have a yard and a playful canine companion to share with his favorite people or living the solo-dog life in an apartment. His size and quiet nature are a great fit for apartment of tiny house living. Just no kitties for Bandit, he met our house cat Tom and got a solid swat on the nose that made him cry. Bandit is currently waiting for his adoption day in a dedicated foster home which has really proved he is ready for home life! Living with another dog has shown he loves to play but takes breaks and is easy canine companion for a playful friend. It has also shown that he is a great co-worker! His foster mama is in real estate and often works from a home office where Bandit will happily lay on his bed, napping or chewing on a bone (those are his favorite.) He also has such good house manners along with being house trained, he quickly earned free-range privileges in the house. Plus, he knows a few basic commands and is so treat motivated that learning new commands/tricks will likely come easy.

This is a happy, friendly boy who will be thrilled to be anywhere with you. Adopt this sweet boy today and get started making beautiful memories together! ! He cannot wait to go on adventures and learn all about the world with a person of his own at the other end of the leash. We sure hope its you!

If you have any questions about Bandit or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.

Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.

The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!

Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
