What’s a plus about this short-legged little bus named Gus??? Well, for starters he is cute with a capital C!!! Gus came to us from Atascosa, Texas and he is ready for his forever home! This little squatty mutt is quite the character. During his walks, he might take the lead but he will constantly check his shoulder to make sure you’re always with him. Gus is an avid sniffer and loves to pick up as many scents as he possible can! While he is over all a gentleman on his leash, he might give it a little tug when squirrels and lizards tempt him. Gus has never met a stranger and he loves to greet everyone that passes by. Asa he waits for a human to approach his cage, he makes his own melody with the tippy taps of his paws and oh boy is it the cutest sight to see! He makes quite the traveling companion and really enjoys joining his humans for car rides. Gus is affectionate by nature and would make a wonderful addition to just about any family. He gets along with dogs and cats alike - so, no matter what kind of pack you have he will fit right in! Submit an application to meet this stubby dude today!

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
