OREGON OR WASHINGTON FOSTERS WANTED!!!!

ALL ARE AVAILABLE TO FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT!

Adorable small breed adult dogs and puppies!!!

2 adult smalls plus 3 small breed Chihuahua mix male puppies coming from Texas need fosters beginning Sat Oct 19th, Duluth Trading Co pickup!

There are no spay neuter appts available in Laredo Texas vets so either we will get them fixed or make arrangements with adopters (they sign spay neuter agreements).

National Adoption Week is following week and we will bring all dogs Oct 26th and/or Oct 27th (unless out of dogs for Sun) to Beaverton Petsmart

If we "run out of dogs" we will only do the event Sat Oct 26th but plan on attending one or getting your foster to one please.

Be sure to communicate about needing help getting your foster to events PRIOR to event.
Communication is key.

You'll get a call from an SSDR volunteer to discuss the pet you are interested in.

We'll provide contact info for the foster family currently housing the dog you'd like to meet. You can setup a time for everyone to meet!

Additional adoption info

Adoption application, home check, reference and vet check, adoption contract, fees, follow up coaching and support for your new rescue dog.

Streetsavvydogrescue.org requires a $50 application fee for all our dogs as well as a fully filled out application accessing our website link. It is a fillable form on Streetsavvydogrescue.org

If you are approved to adopt a Streetsavvydogrescue.org dog the $50 fee will be applied towards their adoption fee.

We cannot respond to inquiries a majority of the time but you are welcome to text us at 971-303-9415. We rarely answer phone calls due to time constraints but we recommend messaging us on Instagram, FB or via text. 971-303-9415.

Our program is all about matching you to one of rescue dogs! Our foster program gives us invaluable info about our rescues.

We also have a foster to adopt program for qualifying applicants!

Timeline on adopt finalization ranges from 1 week (puppies) to 3-4 weeks for adolescent and adult dogs.

WE REQUIRE AN APPLICATION and $50 fee to apply for one of our dogs.

Our vision is to rescue abandoned dogs from high kill shelters and communities in under-served areas and find them adoptive homes in the Northwest. Our efforts are focused on shelter dogs in Texas and in Oregon.
