Scout is a very sweet and lovable dog. He hugs and cuddles and loves to be pet. He is very active and loves walks. He was a rescue dog that had for a few months now. According to our vet, he is between a year and a year and a half old. He’s 42 pounds and in good health and up-to-date on shots as well as chipped and neutered. He is housebroken and listens well. He’s a bit wild on walks but is much better than when we first got him. He’s been to the dog park and plays well with the other dogs, but will show aggression through the fence.
The reason we are looking to rehome him is because we have small children in the house. He is unpredictable with them. He has snapped and nipped at hands and feet, unprovoked. He’s never broken skin but the habit is not getting any better and it scares the children. He is great with adults and teens and that is the home we recommend. We have cats and he has never showed any aggression toward them. We are sorry to see him go.
