My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cassie loves being around people and sleeping in bed with people. She is happy all of the time. She barks if someone is close to the house and loves looking out the window. She is a wonderful companion to anyone who is around but she does pick one person she really likes to be with and will follow the human almost everywhere unless there is food. She is very food driven which I have been told makes a dog trainable.
Cassie was my parents’dog for their final years of life and provided so much love to them. Unfortunately my father had Alzheimer’s disease which completely interfered training Cassie. My mom was not thinking of what Cassie’s life may be like once my mom died. I have been caring for Cassie for almost two years and thought another family member would step in when I no longer could care for her. This did not happen when I asked my sibling to take over so it is time for Cassie to be loved by just the right person/people.
