Hi! My name is Ricotta Cheese. I was brought to We Care after a kind person found my siblings and I living outside. Although it was scary at first I have come to love being fed and brought fresh bedding everyday. I am still wary of new people, but I will come around! If you are willing to take things slow and build a relationship with me, I promise it will be worth it! I am a sucker for tasty treats, ask if you can share some with me!

Please make an appointment to come and meet the pet in person (with the family). You can fill out an application online or in person. We request a $100 adoption fee per pet.

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
