My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy! Snowdoun's my name! I am a six-year-old mountain cur mix. I was hanging around a gas station out in the county a little while ago. I will have to admit, it was pretty crowded there. A kind stranger had stopped to get gas and run inside the store, when he saw me. He asked around if anyone knew me, but no one did. He was afraid I was going to get hit by a car with all of the activity going on there. He helped me out by loading me in his car and bringing me to the shelter. I was never claimed by my family and I am looking for a new home. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I would like to thank my kind rescuer for bringing me to the safety of the shelter! I hope I am on the path to finding my forever home!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
