My name is Fawn!

Say hello to mama Fawn! This 5 pound bouncy 2 yr old is ready to live the pampered life. She came into rescue with her three puppies who already outweigh her! Fawn is believed to be a Chihuahua Terrier mix. Her white and tan fur is pretty coarse. She doesn’t seem to be much of a shedder which is nice. Fawn gets along just fine with her foster fur sister, and loves to be with her favorite person. She has shown good skills with stairs, comes when called, and sits for treats. Potty skills need to be reinforced but she really does want to be a good girl. She currently sleeps great in a cozy kennel at night after snuggling during the evenings. We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!!
