Meet Emma!

Emma is a reserved, independent spirit with a hint of curiosity. Though she may seem aloof and skittish at first, she walks well on a leash and has a calm, medium-energy demeanor once she settles in. Emma can be a little reserved with new people and may avoid interaction initially, but her independence is part of her charm! In her kennel, Emma is noticeably more vocal and lively, possibly because she's waiting for that special someone to give her a chance to come out of her shell. If you're looking for a thoughtful and independent companion, Emma might be the perfect match

On 10/22/24 Emma attended playgroup. She was timid and unsure in the catch pen, cowering in the corner. Once in the yard, she seemed to coexist well with the other dogs. She showed some interest in them, but mostly kept to herself.

Additional adoption info

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.

All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.
