My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calm, Captivating, Cordial

Please welcome Madame Butterfly, a gentle feline soul eager to spread her wings and find her furever home!

Madame Butterfly recently gave birth and is now ready to transform out of "momma mode." We haven't seen her with dogs or other cats. But, given her pleasant nature, it is likely that Madame Butterfly would happily make furry friendships with a proper introduction. She would also do well as an only cat because she thrives on attention from her people. She seeks their companionship and has has enjoyed everyone she's met, including children as young as nine.

You can observe Madame Butterfly's affinity for humans as she greets you at the door. She'll sit close to you and press her paw lightly upon your foot, seeking and reinforcing your connection. Madame Butterfly is also a great couch buddy. She enjoys sitting next to you and will even curl up in your lap. While there, she'll encourage further bonding by having you give her some chin scritchies and scratchies. These will sometimes result in soft purrs from this sweet lady.

Keeping with her interest in people, Madame Butterfly's favorite toys are ones where you can interact with her. She delights in pawing at and pouncing on toys that you make move under a blanket. These hidden treasures really draw out her playful side. A side that ignites when the wand toys appear. As you make them dance and flutter in the air, Madame Butterfly leaps and bounds to catch her prize.
