Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Outgoing, Happy, Chatty
Amelia Bedelia is obsessed with people! She dutifully raised her kittens, and was protective and loving, but she is definitely ready to be on her own again! Amelia Bedilia would prefer to be the sole feline in her furever home. She is great with humans of all ages, but does not take to other animals well. She was primarily nursing and taking care of her kittens when being introduced to other animals in foster, so this may change once she is back to being a solo feline!
A home where her humans are able to be around often is preferred for Amelia Bedelia! She loves to chat with her humans, and hang out in the same room as them. If needed she can absolutely entertain herself and relax in her own space - but she would much rather be near her people.
Playtime is hit or miss for Amelia Bedelia. If her humans instigate playtime, she will tap into her energy to have fun together. She is happy to do whatever her humans want, or need from her. She is a very good kitty when nail trimming time comes around even though she doesn't care for it!
If your family is looking to add a happy, social, gorgeous brown and white tabby to their family, contact APA! to bring Amelia Bedelia home today!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Amelia Bedelia, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
