Buddy was rescued from an animal shelter in Wichita, KS when he was approximately 12 months old. I have been working with him during that time to cure his anxiety . I have had to relocate and he is not happy in the environment. We have been here over a year, and I have to admit he needs more than I can give him. He is sweet, gentle, and a a very sensitive soul. He is used to dog parks and does not react to other dogs when we are on walks. He needs a calm home with people that will be with him most of the time. He loves to cuddle, play catch, walk, ride in the car. He knows a lot of commands and does not run when a door is opened. He walks well on a leash. He is good with people, adults and children, once he gets used to them. He will bark if he has never met them. He has never been aggressive with any other dog human. In fact he will run rather than fight when challenged by another dog. He had not been around cats, so not sure how he will react.
