Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Scootie Patootie is a sweet girl who was surrendered to Bunny Lu due to no fault of her own. Her parents were dumped in a neighborhood, and after her mom gave birth to a litter, a neighbor trapped what they thought was all of the bunnies and rehomed them. However, Scootie here apparently evaded this capture and was later found in a backyard fending for some food. Once Scootie was brought into the home, she befriended the owner's dog and lived life as a free roam Bunny!
Scootie Patootie is definitely overweight, and we are currently working on helping her drop the extra weight. She is so large at the moment that she cannot properly clean her underside because she physically cannot reach it. Scootie really is a super sweet girl though, and she loves to get head scratches!! Scootie also really likes to be in the same room as everyone else in the house, but she usually does prefer to be more of an observer rather than the center of attention.
If you're interested in adopting Scootie Patootie, please reach out and we can help you get the process started!

More about this rescue
Bunny Lu Adoptions, Inc. is a volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) domestic rabbit rescue and education organization located in Waynesboro, Virginia. We are dedicated to educating people about the joys of having a house rabbit(s) companion and promoting care that will give those companions the best chance at a happy, healthy, long life.
Bunny Lu also provides temporary foster care to abandoned and neglected rabbits and arranges adoptions into loving, indoor, forever homes. While we do not condone the surrendering of rabbits, we understand that providing assistance to those people trying to improve their rabbits' quality of life sometimes requires finding a new home for the rabbits.
