My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Got Dragons? Meet Queenie! Queenie was given up by her owner about 4 years ago, about the same time Queen Behenu's tomb was discovered in Egypt, which is where she got her name. She's been with us for a long time and is about 5 years old. With her soft jet black fur and beautiful gold eyes, she reminds us of the dragon in the movie 'How to Train Your Dragon' because she has a lot of the same mannerisms that Toothless has. She's mysterious at first, then curious, watchful and surprisingly sweet and playful; a true lap cat who loves to be pet! You can see Queenie at PetSmart in Fort Lauderdale today and although we're not complaining about her companionship with us, she's been in the shelter too long. Can you please help us find her a permanent home? Contact Joyce@BeyondNineCatRescue.org today!

More about this rescue

Established in 2007, Beyond Nine Cat Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We’re an all-volunteer group of individuals dedicated to allowing cats to live safe, healthy and happy lives. We do not accept euthanasia as a solution to treatable medical conditions or as a means of population control for animals. Our goal is to see that no cat goes without food, shelter and medical care; that every cat is spayed or neutered and that as many cats as possible find loving forever homes – no matter how long it takes.
