Spirit Bear captured the hearts of the entire staff at the shelter, after he was found roaming the countryside. He is an absolute sweetheart who is one of those dogs that walks into the house like he's always lived there and always been besties with the dogs who live there. This is a great dog, not just beautiful, but the kind of guy who gets into your heart and makes a house there.

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
