Meet Benji – Your Future Furry Friend!
Welcome Benjamin (Benji) to Just Paws! This sweet boy has recently been surrendered as his previous owner could no longer provide the attention and care he needed. Benji has adjusted beautifully in his foster home in Scarborough, and we’re excited to find him his forever family!
Benji is a 7-year-old Shipoo cross, weighing approximately 12-15 lbs (we’ll verify after his vet visit). His birthday was just on May 7, so he’s in the prime of his life! Benji will soon be microchipped, vaccinated, and examined, with a possible dental cleaning, too. Like most Shipoo crosses, Benji will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
Benji’s Personality:
Dog-friendly: Benji has lived with another dog and enjoys their company but appreciates his own space, too.
Not a fan of cats: He prefers a feline-free household.
People-friendly: Benji loves meeting new people on walks but may take a little longer to warm up to men. Once he trusts you, his tail never stops wagging! He’s already bonded well with his foster dad, who brushes him with ease (Benji even falls asleep during grooming!).
Playful: Benji enjoys running around in a secure fenced yard and loves a good game of fetch.
Living Situation:
House-trained: No accidents in his foster home, and he sleeps soundly through the night.
Condo life?: Uncertain, as Benji has never lived in a condo.
Walks well on leash: Benji enjoys his walks.
We’re still learning more about this wonderful boy, but it’s clear that Benji is amazing! He deserves a loving home where he can be the center of attention and receive all the love he craves.
